Thefts of jewellery

Good morning all, 

I hope this message finds you well and you are all enjoying the summer. 

Over the past few weeks, we have had reports of 3 people in a silver/grey vehicle (possibly hatchback BMW), asking people for directions. When people have approached the car, the female occupant of the vehicle has engaged in conversation before putting a necklace onto the victims in the guise of a gift. During this interaction, victims have had their valuable necklaces stolen. 

The suspects are described as:

Male 1 and 2: South Asian, mid 30's, stocky build

Female: South Asian, early to mid 30's, brown hair, head scarf and floral outfit. 

Please been extremely cautious when approaching vehicles asking for directions and keep some distance between yourself and the car. If you do see any suspicious vehicles driving around the area, please let us know via Met Engage, by calling 101 or reporting via the Met Police website.
